Born in 1975, Quentin Garel is a French sculptor who graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

His work opens a window on the complex relationships that man has with animals through their representation. The gigantism and the choice of materials give the works a totemic dimension.
Quentin Garel shapes wood, bronze and cast iron, bringing delicacy and originality in the textures and excess in the monumental dimensions of the pieces. He creates surprise by the changes in scale of some of his sculptures. His large preparatory drawings and sketches are an integral part of his work.
